> Change of guarantor

The University of Groningen has to inform the Immigration and Naturalisation Services (IND) if you plan to continue your stay in the Netherlands and will start studying at the University of Groningen with your current, valid residence permit.

In order to ensure that your current residence permit will remain valid, you must submit this form and requested documents as soon as possible.

Dutch residence permit card not valid

Since your Dutch residence permit card is not valid anymore and been terminated by the IND, we cannot apply for a change of guarantor.

You need to apply for a new residence permit.

> Change of Purpose

You will need a residence permit if you will continue your stay in the Netherlands and will start studying at the University of Groningen. The Immigration Service Desk (ISD) will apply for a new residence permit for the purpose of ‘Study’ at the Immigration and Naturalisation Services (IND). 
In order to apply for a new residence permit you must submit this form and requested documents as soon as possible.

> Extension residence permit

You will need an extension of your residence permit if you want to continue your stay and studies in the Netherlands after the expiration date of your current residence permit.
The Immigration Service Desk (ISD) will apply for the extension of your residence permit with the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).
In order to extend your residence permit you must submit this form and all the requested documents as soon as possible.

Apply for your new passport!

Your passport will be expiring within 6 months of you starting your study programme of the University of Groningen. This is why you need to apply for your new passport as well. Please check with your authorities how to apply and do this as soon as possible not to cause any delays for your start in Groningen.
Please continue with completing the rest of the form and send a copy of your new passport after you received it. For now, just upload the copy of your current passport.
