IMPORTANT DECLARATION
By signing this agreement I, the scientific researcher/ highly skilled migrant, declare the following:

› I am aware that my legal stay in the Netherlands is based on my contract or (guest) agreement with the UG/UMCG.

› I am aware that I am the legal sponsor of the mvv and/or residence permit application(s) and the stay of my family member(s) in the Netherlands.

› I am aware I and my family member(s) have no recourse to public funds, specifically with regards to Dutch welfare benefits (Dutch: bijstand).

› I am aware it is my obligation and responsibility to have a valid healthcare insurance for me and my family member(s) during my entire stay; I have and will remain having a healthcare insurance with sufficient coverage in the Netherlands

› I am aware that as a (future) holder of a Dutch residence permit, I and my family member(s) are expected to have my main residence in the Netherlands, and I will not be out of the Netherlands for more than 6 months per year

› I will report any changes in my and my family member(s) their situation (e.g. amount of income, amount of working hours, emigration) to the ISD as soon as possible by sending an e-mail to isd-staff@rug.nl.
