Change of courses/activities before or during GIED: Students must always ask approval of the Board of Examiners for any changes in the previously approved study programme. When you would like to make changes to your initial choice of courses/activities, you will have to send a new Approval form categories GIED, holding all courses/activities (including the ones already approved) and the relevant documentation to the Board of Examiners, by filling in this form again.
► ► Note: when you would like to change your initial choice of courses/activities, please add the course descriptions of your new courses/activities to your request for approval to the Board of Examiners. *
Approval Board of Examiners: The Board of Examiners will use this Approval form and the information provided when making decisions with regard to the approval of your courses/activities. They will check whether the courses/activities fit well into your GIED study programme, so that the ECTS obtained for activities can count towards completing the Global and Intercultural Engagement Distinction in Groningen. Approval from the Board of Examiners is required not only for the registration of results, but also a prerequisite for the Global and Intercultural Engagement Distinction to be placed on your diplomasupplement. It is the Board of Examiners determining the fitness of a course or activity in the scheme of GIED, based on the information provided.
► ► Note: any requests for exemptions must be made in advance, so before the start of the activity. In principle, no credits will be granted for a language course. Please make sure you also read the information on the GIED webpage. *
